A Pianist and Organist by training, he started accompanying Singers and Choirs at the age of 9, which set off his love for the voice.

Sir Jeffrey Tate was his mentor for three years, and he still uses the batons which Jeffrey gave him before his death in 2017.
Aside from music, Cameron has an ongoing love-affair with Italy and Italian art history. He has eaten a mainly plant-based diet for almost four years and is an avid reader.
